Two peoples in their thirties..

...who didn't want to wait to pursue their French Dream.

It started with a holiday in the Nivernais. We immediately fell in love with this region. The peace, nature, life in the French countryside, it was exactly what we were looking for in addition to our busy life in the Netherlands.

After a short, but intensive search we found our dream house on a hill between Crux-La-Ville and St. Saulge. The view, the authentic elements... It was just exactly what we were looking for. But there was one thing missing in this little Fermette: love.

We worked on La Fermette du Merle with a lot of energy and attention to the place; an authentic house with atmosphere and comfort on a special location.

We like to share our little paradise with guests and we hope that everyone who visits La Fermette du Merle understands why we love this region so much.
